Streets & Parks Department

The Ellinwood Street Department has 3 full time staff, a Superintendent and two maintenance employees.  Kevin Clair is the Street & Parks Superintendent.  The department has the responsibility for ensuring the safety and maintaining the condition of all public streets, alleys, and right-of-ways.

Their primary responsibilities include street repairs, curb and gutter repairs, storm drain installation and repairs, maintenance of drainage right of ways, snow removal, street sweeping, paint striping, mowing, sign maintenance, festival site preparation, compost site maintenance, ball field and city parks maintenance.
